In 2015 PowaKaddy had its most successful year for cart bags with sales up more than 30% and it is looking to capitalise on this interest with the addition of the Dri Edition to its cart bag range.
As the name suggests the bag is fully waterproof with 12 months of extensive testing undertaken to ensure that it can take the worst the British weather can throw at it.
The first line of defence is its construction from a high-tech, 2000mm waterproof fabric with heat-welded seams. This means the fabric can stand a pressure of 2,000 millimetres of water before it permeates through the fabric.
To give this context, heavy wind driven rain exerts approximately 1,400 mm of pressure so unless you're planning to take it underwater you can be sure the Dri Edition cart bag will keep all of your gear dry. A further layer of protection is provided by covered zip holders to stop water penetrating these traditionally weak areas of golf bags.
David Catford, PowaKaddy CEO, explains the company's thinking:
There's no doubt more golfers are looking for a waterproof cart bag that can perform with their trolley all year round. The Dri Edition is without doubt the most advanced cart bag we've ever produced and whilst a lot of attention to detail has focused around the waterproof technology, the bag doesn't compromise on features with an abundance of pockets and gadgets geared towards the serious golfer.
The seven pockets in the bag are specifically designed for apparel, accessories, balls, valuables and drinks whilst your clubs are protected by a 14-way divider.
A PowaKaddy E-zee lift handle and base grab handle make it easy to get the bag from your car whilst external features such as an umbrella loop and towel and glove holders help attach important accessories to the bag.
As with PowaKaddy's Premium, Deluxe and Lite cart bags the Dri Edition boasts the unique Anti-twist Key Lock Base making it simple to attach to a PowaKaddy trolley but the bags will also fit with the other trolley brands available on the market.
