Stop me if you've heard this before: Nike Sign David Duval. Sounds familiar right? Well, it's happening again.

Two years after going their separate ways, Nike Golf and David Duval have reached an agreement that will see "Double D" use Nike clubs and equipment starting this week at Pebble Beach.

In what could be described as a make-over offseason for Nike, they have launched into the 2013 season with a stable of young golfers (Rory McIlroy, Nick Watney, Kyle Stanley, Russell Henley, Thorbjorn Olesen and Seung Yul Noh to name a few) and a bright new range of clubs, accessories and apparel, headlined by the new Nike VR_S Covert driver.

Duval, who originally signed with Nike in 2001, was in fact the first Nike athlete to win a major winning the Open Championship the same year, at Royal Lytham and St. Annes.

In addition to his claret jug, Duval has 12 Tour wins and became the 3rd player to shoot a 59 on the PGA Tour in the final round of his victory at the 1999 Bob Hope Chrysler Classic.

Now, after years of battling injuries and form, Duval is back with Nike for the 2013 season.

“I could not be more excited to once again become a Nike Athlete,” said Duval.

“Nike Golf has been a major player in the success I have had throughout my career. I am thrilled to return to the Swoosh and continue my career with a brand that focuses on developing innovative products.”

Duval will be using a full set of Nike clubs as well as Nike apparel and footwear. Here's a look inside his bag:
