Tee Hunter is a simple app that allows you to search and book tee times at more than 650 courses in the UK. Search for courses could not be easier, by simply entering a course name or town or searching around your current location. Results will be shown on a easy to use map, or you can change the results to a list form including the distance of the various clubs to your location.
Once you select a course, you are able to see images of the course, course information, a scorecard (where available), directions to the course or simply see the available tee times. You can add courses to a favourites list that will make them easier to access in the future.
To complete a booking you will need to be registered for a Teeofftimes.co.uk account. If you are not a member, you can register via the app and it is free and easy to set up an account.
What made the Tee Hunter app was how easy it is to use and navigate. You are not overwhelmed with questions or pages of information. From starting the app, you can be just two minutes from securing a tee time.
We thought the app could use a 'review' feature allowing users to leave reviews of courses and also allowing someone looking for a good course the ability to read reviews before making their choice. If you are a keen golfer and book tee times online, this is a must have. If not, it is still worth checking out and best of all, it's free.
