How? After a disappointing final day at the PGA Championship eventually finishing T5th, Matthew Fitzpatrick did not let him affect him heading to Brookline, returning to the home of his historic 2013 US Amateur victory. Fitzpatrick held off a stellar group of the world's golfing elite including McIlroy, Scheffler, Rahm and Will Zalatoris, carding a final round 68 to claim a dramatic victory. He capped off his final round with a fairway bunker shot that will go down in history as one of the best shots we've seen on the final day of a US Open.
