It's human nature to want things to be as easy as possible. That's the reason remote controls proliferate in your living room.

Get ready to add another remote to your life - for your golf trolley.

Motocaddy S7 Remote Electric Golf Trolley

Motocaddy is launching the S7 Remote electric golf trolley in response to increasing consumer demand for a reliable hands-free option in their range.

Built on the same frame as their popular S-Series range, the S7 Remote features navigation based on a dual pressure control system that gives players full control of the trolley.

The amount of pressure applied on either the left or right buttons of the control alters how much the trolley will turn in that direction whilst the speed, either forwards or backwards, is determined by how long the respective buttons are held down.

Intelligence is built in with a 50 metre cut out function to stop the trolley going out of range from a golfer, whilst a hibernation setting will bring the trolley to a halt if the control hasn't been touched for more than 45 seconds.

The S7 Remote has two motors that operate together to compensate for the the lateral slopes found on most course and it also features a fourth anti-tip wheel at the rear to further increase stability.

If, for whatever reason, you want to control the trolley manually, then it is easy to switch between the remote function and manual control mode by holding down the on/off button for one second.

The S7 Remote also boasts the features that we have come to expect from Motocaddy like the USB charging port to charge GPS devices from the battery, a speed indicator and a battery meter.

The S7 remote has an aluminium frame and weighs just 13 kg and uses Motocaddy's Quikfold mechanism to fold to a compact 101cm x 61cm x 33.5cm for easy storage and transportation.

The S7 Remote is compatible with the latest Motocaddy Dry-Series golf bags thanks to the Easilok connection system that aligns two holes on the bag support with two removable locking pins on the base of the bag.

Available from May 2015 that S7 Remote comes with the Motocaddy 20ah Lithium battery and comes in either black or alpine colour schemes.
