Golfstream may be a relatively small brand across the wider golfing world when it comes to electric golf trolleys, particularly when compared to the likes of PowaKaddy and Motocaddy, but they are still able to pack a punch as I found when I tested the Blue Trolley last year.

Golfstream Vision Brake Golf Trolley

Their new Vision Brake trolley is said to be packed with performance features, including a new electronic braking system (EBS), full-colour display, and the fastest one-click folding mechanism in the industry, whilst still retaining a low price point.

The trolley is also compact, folding down to 59cm x 28cm x 86cm to fit into the smallest spaces and car boots, and a magnetic latch holds the trolley together whilst being carried to make it easy to transport.

A distance control function allows the trolley to be sent ahead for distances of 10, 20 and 30 metres, while the speed can be adjusted on the dial from 0.5 all the way up to 9.5 - allowing you to match it with your own walking pace.

The new electronic braking system also makes sure that the trolley will only creep slowly down seven severe slopes and inclines, meaning that you are always able to remain in control.

A full-colour screen on the handle can be personalised with a golfer's details, while there is also a 'simplicity' mode which allows golfers to just focus on their golf.

An 18-hole lithium CaddyCell battery is supplied as standard, and drives a whisper-quiet motor that can carry your clubs with ease across all terrains. There is also the option of a 36-hole battery for golfers looking to play more golf on a single charge.

The batteries also feature a USB charging point for mobile phones and GPS devices, and come with a three-year guarantee.

The trolley features high-grip PU tyres that are five times more durable than normal tyres, ensuring a smooth, cushioned ride for your clubs and valuables.

The Golfstream Vision Brake is available now and has an RRP of just £499 without a battery, £599 with an 18-hole lithium battery or £649 for the 36-hole battery.
