The Wilson Staff Dd6 Driver is 40cc bigger than it's Pd6 brother and most of this extra size goes into the back of the head which is deeper and slightly shallower.

Despite that the face is still big enough to provide lots of forgiveness and it is a little more closed than the Pd6 to suit the mid to high handicapper.

The standard nano tech shaft feels good and there is wide range of alternative shaft options for the Dd5 driver. The flight of the ball was good although the head did not feel as lively as similar models at impact.

Overall the Wilson Staff Dd6 driver is a solid club and good value for money as it is a little cheaper than it's rivals, but if you can spend the extra, then there are better alternatives around.

Had been using Taylor R7 for last year & a half and thought it was good until I had a hit of my friends new Wilson Staff Dd6 with pro launch blue in it. I mean talk about long I was consistently booming it 280 - 290 meters. This would have to be one of the easiest drivers to hit currently on the market, the R7 lives in the garage now and the Wilson Staff Dd6 now sits proudly in my bag. Also for all you faders out there like I was with the Dd6 you will start to hit that right to left that you have always wanted to. 5 star club in my eyes... well worth the AU400.00 price tag.

Classic styling..penetrating ball flight..less than generous forgiveness.
