The TaylorMade TP xFT wedge is a great concept.

You can grind your wedge and get it adjusted to suit you game, but then when the grooves lose their edge then all you have to do is replace the face and not the whole club.

This is probably aimed at better players who do adjust their wedge set up as the cost of the club is quite high and the replacement faces are around 40% of the price of the club and you could get 2 new wedges from other top wedge manufacturers for the same price.

However away from the financials, the TP head is quite small and the cavity in the back of the head made the sound a little bit hollow.

The shaft is heavier than some wedges, but that said the TaylorMade TP xFT wedge was very good for half shots and around the green.
