The Sonartec MD Transition utility club is one of the best utlity clubs we have tested.

The cavity design of the sole moves the centre of gravity further back, which in turn reduces the amount of backspin on the ball giving longer and straighter shots.

The club head is also slightly deeper than most other utilities which makes it very easy to hit and you get an excellent feel from the club.

One of the reasons Tour players like the Sonartec MD Transition utility club is that you can hit it low or high and from left to right. This manoeuverability it not usually a feature of utility clubs as most are set up to give one certain type of trajectory.

There is a good range of lofts in the range and the alternative iron numbers on the club were accurate for a change. It will provide a slightly higher trajectory than the equivalent iron but with a penetrating flight.

If you are thinking of a utility club then the Sonartec MD Transition utility club is definitely one to consider.
