The Callaway Tour i(z) golf ball is slightly firmer than its i(s) stable-mate without being too hard.
The performance on and around the green was excellent and it is a worthy competitor to the ProV1x and Srixon Z-Star. Callaway’s hex dimple pattern still provides better stability in the wind than most other balls but the big change with this ball over the Tour iX is that the distance has been improved.
It certainly did feel a little longer than previous models and combined with the better feel and good durability this makes the Tour i(z) a ball you should really try out.
