Wilson Staff categorises golfers using a Feel, Crossover and Distance system to match the performance of the club to the player.
The Wilson Staff C200 irons sit in Crossover as they are designed to give mid-to-high handicappers both distance and accuracy from a mid-sized head.
Michael Vrska, Global Director of Innovation at Wilson Golf, explains:
We set out to create a distinctly new club for the significant group of golfers in the Crossover category - one with easy to understand technology that's clearly visible and a primary aim to deliver distance.
The key to delivering this in the C200 irons is what Wilson calls FLX Face Technology. This means the contact points between the inner club head and the thin face are minimised, with 76% of the face free from the body of the iron, maximising the potential for the face to flex.
Wilson has created Power Holes that go through the clubhead giving the space required for the face to flex and they have been filled in with a TE031 Urethane material that helps to dampen vibrations to enhance feel without sacrificing any distance.
The Wilson Staff 200 irons come with a choice of KBS Tour 90 steel and Aldila Rogue Pro graphite shafts.
