Who? 29 year-old Hideki Matsuyama.

What? The 2021 Zozo Championship, his seventh PGA Tour win.

Where? Narashino Country Club, Inzai, Japan.

How? Matsuyama won on home soil with a fine final round of 65 to give him an emphatic five stroke victory over Cameron Tringale and Brendan Steele, highlighted by a closing eagle on the par-five 18th hole. Matsuyama had led by one shot heading into the final round but found himself one stroke behind Tringale after 10 holes, only to find three birdies in a five hole stretch to open up a lead before finishing with the eagle to cement the victory.
