How? Matsuyama won for the first time in over two years with an incredible final round at Riviera, shooting a stunning 62 to make up a six-shot deficit going into the final round. The round was the second lowest in course history and the lowest score for the final round of the Genesis Invitational, and gave him a three-shot victory over Will Zalatoris and Luke List, with overnight leader Patrick Cantlay a further shot behind.
