Whilst the likes of TaylorMade, Callaway and Cobra already released their metals at the beginning of 2022, Titleist have again waited until the middle of the season to announce details of their latest range as it debuted on the PGA Tour last week.

The new TSR Drivers and Fairways, following on from the TSi range, are now in the 'tour seeding and validation' stage of the process, one of the more unique and most important parts of Titleist's development of new product.

Titleist TSR Drivers

Three time major champion Jordan Spieth, notoriously slow to switch to new gear, put a TSR3 Driver into play straight away at the Travelers Championship, while rising star Davis Riley ensured that the TSR range got off to an impressive start...

It will be interesting to see how many players who are currently using Titleist drivers - including the likes of Justin Thomas, Patrick Cantlay, Cam Smith, Will Zalatoris and recent US Open champion Matt Fitzpatrick - choose to make the switch into the new TSR models, and how quickly they do it.

Of course, here at Golfalot we will keep you informed along the way and when the new metals do launch, we'll have comprehensive written and video reviews ready for you to see just how they get on.
