The TaylorMade RocketBladez Tour irons offer better players and Tour players the benefits of the RocketBladez technology in an iron designed to deliver consistent distance control and increased speed.

Like the standard RocketBladez model, the RocketBladez Tour iron features TaylorMade's new Speed Pocket in the sole of the clubhead. The 2mm pocket featured on the 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 irons flexes the clubface at impact to deliver increased speed and a high launch. With the thinnest face design (11% thinner), the RocketBladez face ensures predictability and consistency by creating a face that is free of "hot spots".

We heard from TaylorMade's President, Mark King, who told us:

"We created RocketBladez irons for amateurs, but when our Tour Staff pros tried it, they wanted it. We created a Tour version, and they love it. It’s the first distance-oriented iron to be played on Tour. The genius of the Speed Pocket is that not only does it deliver more speed for more distance, it delivers consistent speed, so shots fly a consistent distance. That combination of speed and consistent distance is what made the eyes of our Tour pros light up"

A distinct notch (pictured left) on the rear of the hosel along with an internal notch allows TaylorMade to create an iron that can be easily bent to alter the lie angle to better suit golfers.
