Inspired by performance of tour players such as Graeme McDowell, Keegan Bradley and Hideki Matsuyama the Srixon Z 545 Driver is the flagship of Srixon's Z-Series of clubs.
The Z-Series sees Srixon moving back into golf hardware by harnessing the innovative spirit and expertise found at their Japanese Golf Science Centre where each Z-Series club is designed using proprietary Digital Impact Technology and built with a detailed focus on the precise performance of the club's target player.
The Z 545 driver is aimed at players looking for maximum distance and boasts a level of playability that will suit all levels of players. A 460cc head gives players great confidence on the tee as well as improving forgiveness whilst the aesthetic is of a sleek, aggressive, modern driver.
Designed for a mid-launch low spin ball flight, the ball speed has been maximised across the face by the use of a "Booster cup-face" construction. This varies thickness of the face across the clubface allowing Srixon to increase the sweet spot by 35%, which in turn increases both the forgiveness and distance.
Further distance gains are achieved via Srixon's Dual Speed Technology that focusses on delivering more kinetic energy at impact for more head speed that translates into more ball speed and therefore distance.
The Srixon Z 545 is fully adjustable and the Quick Tune System allows any player to easily adjust the loft, lie, face angle and centre of gravity. The 12-way hosel design dials in face angle together with lie and loft whilst the adjustable weight port enables players to optimise launch and spin using a 3-gram and a 7-gram weight, with an 11-gram weight also available separately.
