Typically, we are not the place people go to see the new Arsenal kit. However, when Puma told us they were launching an Arsenal-themed golf collection, we thought you guys might be interested.
Along with Ian Poulter, Puma Golf have unveiled a joint campaign with Arsenal Football Club, named "Stronger Together".
Following 20 years with Nike, Arsenal FC signed a new, five-year deal with Puma to design their kit starting this upcoming season. To celebrate the new partnership, the two brands have teamed up to allow "Gooners" the chance to show their colours on the course.
Poulter, an avid "Gooner" himself, has been a lifelong Arsenal fan and has featured in this short video to launch the "Stronger Together" campaign.
The Puma Arsenal golf kit will feature a number of items, ranging from apparel to clubs.
The apparel collection features three different tops available in either red or blue. The Arsenal Tech polo features Puma's breathable, coolCELL mesh panels on the back, designed to keep even the most high-temperatured football fan cool on the links. In addition to the polo, Puma have designed a LS quarter-zip top and wind jacket, each detailed with Arsenal FC's logo on the sleeve.
More good news for Poulter, the collection will include two different shoes.
For £175, the loyal Arsenal supporter can walk their home course in a pair of Puma NeoLux shoes. Featuring the same performance materials as the in-line football boot, the pair comes with one red shoe and one white shoe, both emblazoned with an Arsenal graphics.
And for the golfer that wants to play a quick round on a Saturday morning and then immediately head out to the Emirates Stadium, without changing their shoes, there is the Arsenal Monolite shoes. The lightweight, spikeless design is engineered to improve stability, comfort and support on and off the course. Available in either red, blue or white, the Monolites will feature Arsenal's logo on the tongue.
For the ultimate token of support, Arsenal fans can buy one of 500 Cobra BiO Cell drivers, complete with custom-Arsenal colours.
For £279, this red, white and black driver, featuring both the Arsenal logo on the toe and canon on the crown, can be yours. Of course, it comes complete with a custom white shaft and Arsenal headcover.
The remainder of the collection is made up of bags, hats, gloves and an eye-catching, Rickie Fowler-esque headcover.
The apparel, shoes and driver will be available later this month, whilst fans will have to wait until October to get their hands on the accessories and bags. Given they had to wait 9 years for their recent FA Cup Triumph this shouldn't be a problem!
