The Ping G30 Hybrid completes the set of the impressive new G30 range from Ping. Like the G30 Driver, Fairway and Irons the theme running through the G30 Hybrid technology is hotter launch from new materials coupled with increased control.

Ping G30 Hybrid

With the G30 irons starting with a four iron the G30 hybrids are ideal for filling in the gaps to help you attack the pins from longer distances. Like the irons the hybrids have been manufactured to produce a faster ball speed for longer distance and a higher maximum ball flight allowing players to attack pins with confidence in the knowledge that even with these longer clubs the ball should stop and hold the greens.

Ping G30 Hybrid

To inspire confidence at address the top rail of the G30 hybrid is flatter and the heel section higher than the previous G25 model that gives a very square face at address to help players with aim and alignment. The hybrids do not boast any of the turbulator fins that were so striking on the crown of the driver and the fairway woods but the matte charcoal finish is there to reduce glare and help the player focus.

The hot face of the G30 has been constructed from 17-4 stainless steel and the heat treatment during manufacture allows Ping to make it strong but more importantly thin to maximise face deflection to increase ball speed.

Ping G30 Hybrid

What you can't see from the outside but are there to help your game are internal weight pads in the G30 Hybrid that increase MOI with heel toe weighting for forgiveness on off centre hits. Weight in the sole of the club creates a low-back centre of gravity to help players launch the ball high into the air and in line with their target. In the G30 Ping have moved the CG even further back in the lower lofted hybrids on offer to give players all the height possible on longer shots.

This progressive approach to CG location throughout the G30 hybrid range as well as increased offset with increased loft means a consistent gapping and trajectory to maximise didstance.

Ping G30 Hybrid

Like the G30 Driver and Fairway Woods the G30 Hybrid is offered with a high-balance point TFC 419H shaft that allows for a slightly heavier head weight which again increases MOI to offer forgiveness and accuracy to players looking to score from greater distance.
