Forget Gangnam Style, the Mizuno Genem Drystyle shoe brings a premium Mizuno style and advanced technology to a Tour-level shoe.

Much like the Genem Elite shoe, the only difference being that the Genem Drystyle shoe comes with a Japanese synthetic upper rather than the Elite's leather upper.

Below the synthetic upper is where the shoe works to offer Tour-level stability and comfort. Mizuno's Infinity Wave plate, featured in Mizuno's running shoes, reduces lateral movement by up to 200% over conventional soles.

Mizuno’s Mito Yozawa explains, “Our Wave technology has been the driving force behind Mizuno’s rising popularity amongst serious runners for the last ten years. Unlike previous cushioning technologies, the Wave plate also has inherent natural stability and maintains its performance over a longer period.

“A reconfiguration to suit golf meant that the same Wave technology can give a really well cradled, supported fit for the long walk round a golf course. At the same time it stops any lateral movement – storing all your swing power from the base up.”

The Infinity Wave plate has been improved for the Genem Drystyle shoe. Added inbuilt lateral stability, lateral rib structure and forefoot stabilizers work to create a powerful platform for your golf swing.

Further improvements see a more rounded heel support that works to lift and cradle your foot, while thicker forefoot padding addresses the areas of your shoe that undergoes the most pressure throughout your swing.

The Mizuno Genem Drystyle will enter the market along with the Genem Elite, but will be priced slightly lower with an RRP of £139.
