Callaway Golf has announced a major signing for the beginning of 2021 with the confirmation that the World Number Two Jon Rahm has joined its Tour staff on a multi-year deal.

Jon Rahm Joins Callaway Golf

Making his Callaway debut this year at the Sentry Tournament of Champions, Rahm will be using a full bag of Callaway Woods, Callaway Irons, Callaway Wedges, a Chrome Soft X Ball and an Odyssey Putter.

I'm so happy to be joining Callaway, and I can't wait to start the year. The equipment is already performing well for me, and in my first round with the new setup, I shot a course record 59 at Silverleaf. I have confidence in my new Callaway clubs - and especially the golf ball, which has really impressed me during the testing process.

- Jon Rahm

Rahm has worked extensively with Callaway's Tour Department to dial in the specs for each of his clubs, and will start off with a bag including prototype clubs and irons (more info coming to Golfalot.com very soon...).

The 26 year-old Spaniard has cemented his place as one of the game's elite players since turning professional in 2016. He has spent time as Number One in the world rankings, completed 12 worldwide victories, won the 2018 Ryder Cup and comes fresh off a season in which he added two more PGA Tour victories.

Jon Rahm Joins Callaway Golf

Rahm used Callaway and Odyssey equipment at Arizona State University where he won 11 tournaments and received the Ben Hogan Award as the best college player in the US in consecutive years, whilst spending 60 weeks as the game's top amateur.

Callaway President and CEO, Chip Brewer, commented:

We're proud to welcome Jon Rahm as the newest member of our Tour Staff. He's one of the very best players in the world, and he's a proven winner on golf's biggest global stages. We've admired Jon for many years, going back to his college days when he first used our equipment. We're excited to see him playing Callaway and Odyssey again, as he looks to take his game to yet another level.
