Not content with just releasing their new DNA shoe earlier this year, the folks at FootJoy have unveiled a completely new shoe, inspired by city living, for the male golfer who wants to be stylish and effective on the course.

The new FootJoy City shoe range features a total of five different coloured models in two distinct styles.

FootJoy City Collection

FootJoy's VP of Design and Development, Doug Robinson said:

The new FJ City line gives fashion-conscious players seeking the latest in footwear trends an alternative shoe option that not only delivers the performance features to play well, but stylish designs to look their best on the course and in the clubhouse. FJ City was inspired by modern trends and is a sophisticated balance between performance and style. Each design element, material and colour combination was carefully selected in order to deliver a polished, well-crafted shoe.

The City is available in either a Plain Toe Blucher style (right above), available in either Tan or White, or a more intricate, Shield Tip version (left above) that is available in Black, Off White and Tobacco.

Fashion meets function and performance.

Those are the words from FootJoy describing the all-new range. Each City model is designed to offer a tailored fashion appeal. A full-grain, waterproof leather upper gives the shoe its soft, supple feel whilst the midsole offers a two-tone accents.

"But what about the sole?" I hear you ask.

Well, FootJoy's DuraMax rubber, cleated outsole provides players with a comfortable, flexible base that is both stable and durable. The Pulsar cleats on the underside of the shoe are specifically designed to be soft and green-friendly.
