The 2012 Bridgestone Tour B330-RX golf ball features a softer dual dimple design cover and a larger core and is designed for players with swing speeds less than 105mph, looking for maximum Tour distance.
The popular 3-piece ball's new patented mantle layer and proprietary Dual Dimple Technology are designed to offer Tour performance to players with swing speeds less than 105mph. Bridgestone's ball-fitting service found that nearly 75% of golfers lack the swing speed needed properly compress a traditional Tour ball cover. The softer core Urethane Tour B330-RX ball provides moderate swing speed players the ability to compress the ball with the greenside performance they desire.
The Bridgestone Tour B330-RX's reformulated blend of mantle material is designed to specifically reduce backspin and sidespin on longer shots. Meanwhile, the new Dual Dimple Technology delivers an aerodynamic boost. The large, outer dimples promote a shallow angle of descent for increased roll-out, while the smaller, inner dimples increase power at launch for greater distance. Combined, the new dimple design results in greater overall distance and more consistency in windy conditions.
As well as white, the 2012 Bridgestone Tour B330-RX is available in Optic Yellow for enchanced visibility.
Bridgestone have launched 3 other Tour B330 balls: the Bridgestone Tour B330 for players with swing speeds over 105mph looking for maximum Tour distance, the Bridgestone Tour B330-S suited for golfers with swing speeds over 105mph who are looking for Tour spin, and the Bridgestone Tour B330-RXS for players with swing speeds less than 105mph who are looking for Tour-level spin.
