Whilst they may look like antiques, the i4Tech is in fact the latest model from Yes!, the company that brought you C-Groove Technology.
Highlighted by a new rich-looking, Antique PVD finish, the i4 Tech comes in three different models with lots of different options to match your stroke.
As with all Yes! putters, the key technology is the C-Groove Technology on the face. The face is precision CNC milled to the highest tolerances to add the Stainless Steel C-Grooves insert. The grooves are carefully cut 20-degrees upward to grip the ball and lift it out of its resting position and into a smooth roll.
According to Yes!, the C-Groove Technology produces a 21.5% quicker roll that other putters which tend to produce a roll that skids or skips before settling into a roll.
One of the newer innovations from Yes! is continued in the i4 Tech range. The Vibration Dampening TPU Insert is positioned carefully behind the face of the putter, held by two layers of polymer adhesive in a "through-slot" that is carefully milled in the sole of the putter. The TPU insert is designed to capture any unwanted vibrations from the putter head when a player hits a putt, improving the feel and responsiveness of the new i4 Tech putters.
The i4 Tech range also features Tungsten weights in the sole for added forgiveness and control. In the two blade models there are two weights positioned in the toe and heel and in the mallet design one weight is positioned in the centre at the rear of the sole.
As for the individual models, the i4 Tech is offered in three different shapes designed to suit your eye and your stroke.
The Yes! i4 Tech Callie features a classic blade look with a plumber neck hosel, full shaft offset and a moderate toe hang. The head of Callie model weighs 358 grams and is designed for the majority of players that have a moderately arched putting stroke, and is available in either left or right handed versions.
Another blade shape is offered in the i4 Tech Rachel model. The thinner design is aimed towards players with more face rotation or a stronger arc, thanks to its moderate to pronounced toe hang/weighting. It weighs 347 grams, has a smooth flare neck and is available only in right handed.
The final model is the i4 Tech Stephanie and is the only mallet in the range. It weighs 362 grams and suits a straight-path putting stroke. The simple double bend shaft has a half shaft offset. It is designed with a high MOI for added stability and is available in either left or right handed versions, as well as a mid (400g) and long (500g) length option.
Each of the Yes! i4 Tech putters can be adjusted +/- 2 degrees of loft and +/- 3 degrees of lie angle through custom orders.
