Some good news for Ping today, as they announce Billy Horschel has resigned with the company in a multi-year deal.

The World No. 35 originally signed with Ping in 2009 after graduating from the University of Florida, and following a career year in 2013 he has now put pen to paper on a new deal that will see him continue to use Ping equipment.

Billy Horschel

“Billy is an exciting young player who has a flair for the game and a likeable personality that has made him popular with fans and fellow tour pros,” Solheim said. “Consistency is one mark of true talent, and this year he was high up on leaderboards week in and week out, and he learned how to finish the job under pressure on Sunday afternoon. He has the shot-making skills and the confidence to go far in this game, and we look forward to watching him achieve his goals for years to come.”

Numbers on both the term and money involved in the new deal were not disclosed, but the deal ensures Horschel will be will wearing a Ping hat, carrying a Ping staff bag and playing Ping equipment for the foreseeable future.

Here's a look at the equipment Horschel is currently using:

Ping G25 Driver Ping G25 Driver 9.5 degrees, Mitsubishi Fubuki 63-X shaft. Ping G25 Fairway Wood Ping G25 Fairway Wood 15 and 18 degrees, Oban Kiyoshi Black 75 shaft.
Ping S55 Irons Ping S55 Irons 3 to PW, Ping Z-Z65 shafts. Ping Tour Gorge Wedges Ping Tour Gorge Wedges 52 and 60 degrees, Dynamic Gold S400 Tour shafts.
Ping Redwood Putter Ping Redwood Putter Piper S Custom model, 35", SuperStroke grip.

Amazingly the 26-year old Horschel started the 2013 season ranked outside the top-300 in the world. A string of good results and his first PGA Tour win saw him shoot up the rankings to finish the season ranked 35th in the World Rankings, and 6th in the season-long Fedex Cup.

“Continuing my association with PING gives me peace of mind as we begin the new season,” Horschel said. “I have full confidence in the quality of PING equipment, and the company has put its belief in me and they support me 100% on tour. It’s a true partnership, and they share in my success. I have a lot of goals for this season, so it’s great to have PING in my corner.”
