New Balance are a brand that most of us will know in the sporting arena, but when it comes to golf, they're a relative newcomer.
For 2024, the sportswear giants are introducing a new golf shoe range to UK audiences with a host of different designs for both men and women in standout styles and colourways, helping golfers to make a statement on and off the course.
In total, there are 11 different models across both spiked and spikeless varieties, with a total of 27 different colourways at a range of different price points.
All styles come in half sizes, and have been developed using the brand's footwear technology to provide a combination of fashion, function and form.
Spiked Range
997 Spiked
Headlining the range is the 997 Spiked shoe, featuring a waterproof microfibre leather upper and 10mm drop midsole to provide lightweight cushioning with responsiveness.
The NDurance rubber outsole offers traction and stability, whilst responding to the natural motion of the foot. An ultra-soft Cush+ insole uses a revolutionary foam compound for instant comfort, and the shoe includes premium Softspikes FastTwist 3.0 cleats to enhance grip and stability.
It is available in a White/Navy colourway.
Heritage
Inspired by classic New Balance shoe styles, the heritage model features FastTwitch 3.0 Pulsar cleats on the NDurance outsole for a sturdy grip and enhanced durability, along with a low profile for day-long comfort.
The Dynasoft 10mm drop midsole and Cush+ insole provides a soft foot feel, while the waterproof upper means that the shoe is wearable in wet weather conditions.
Brighton
The vibrant Brighton shoe is available for men in White/Red and Black, as well as women in White and Black/Gum colourways.
Delivering long-lasting comfort, the shoe features a solid construction thanks to the NDurance outsole and DynaSoft midsole with waterproof microfibre leather upper to keep feet dry, as well as FastTwitch 3.0 Pulsar spikes for impressive grip during the swing.
Spikeless Range
997 SL
The trendy 997 SL offers many of the same features as the spiked model, with the addition of a spikeless outsole to provide a solid stance and an option for on and off-course wear.
It comes in White/Navy, Grey/Navy and Grey/Orange colour combinations to suit different tastes and style preferences.
574 Greens V2
Available in four distinctive colourways, the 574 Greens V2 features a Dynasoft 10mm drop midsole to provide a 'lightweight plush comfort and ultra-responsive walking experience'.
The NDurance outsole has been engineered to move with the natural motion of the foot during the swing and whilst walking, whilst the Cush+ insole offers incredible comfort.
Fresh Foam Contend V2
The smart rubber outsole of the shoe features geometric shapes that vary in size and shape, highlighted by pressure mapping colours in the key performance zones.
The breathable mesh upper comes with a FantomFit water guard protection from the elements, along with the Cush+ insole and Fresh Foam midsole to offer comfort and foot support during the rotational forces of the swing.
Fresh Foam ROAV
Finally, the lightweight Fresh Foam ROAV is said to be a perfect summer shoe, featuring a lightweight and breathable construction to keep the feet cool during the round.
The cushioned Fresh Foam midsole and Cush+ insole deliver comfort straight out of the box, while the NDurance spikeless outsole offers added traction and grip.
