The Wilson Staff Ci11 irons may have a lot of game improvement features but actually they play more like a better player's cavity back iron.

The dark PVD finish gives it a very sleek look and hides the depth of the cavity very well. The top line is just large enough to give some confidence without being too large at address. The progressive offset is also very well managed and is less pronounced in the short irons and more visible in the long irons.

The feel and sound at impact are excellent and the oversize heads are effortless to hit. Wilson irons have been very good at this for a long time now and the Ci11 irons continue this trend well.

The flight is medium-high despite the large cavity on the iron so you get performance and forgiveness. The sole is maybe a little wider than most but it still glides through the turf well and is probably the only real game improvement feature you will notice.

Overall when you combine this level of performance with a very competitive price then the Wilson Staff Ci11 irons are one of the best value for money irons for aspiring mid-handicappers.

I bought a set of Wilson Staff Ci11's as my first real outlay on golf, before this I was using borrowed clubs and a mismatch of clubs (not ideal I know). Its safe to say I wasn't great at golf when I started but I got my swing right and then purchased these clubs.

Off the tee and fairway I can easily say these clubs are great. I am 6'1" and are perfect length for me, as well as weight. My handicap has reduced down to around 18-20 and that is without my short game really improving that much. I spent around £140 on the 4-PW. I tend to hit these irons a good 20 yards longer than my playing partners, a couple of which are single figure handicappers, which seems to be consistent with most reviews people write saying they hit a little further.

Next on my list to purchase is a decent putter and some wedges with maybe some lessons thrown in to help me stop duffing little chips. Overall I would recommend a set of these to anyone who is looking for their first set of clubs but only after making sure you are swinging properly. These are 'game improvement irons' but won't sort a horrid swing out, that needs to be taught by a person. Good luck!

These are excellent golf clubs. They should be though . They are Wilson Staff. I bought these several years ago and found a special set made by Wilson. The Ci11 set I bought has 2 Hybrids a 3&4 and the irons are 5-GW. Spoke with the folks at Wilson and they said they only made 100 sets like that. They are great hitting irons and the Hybrids are long and straight. If you can still find a set of Ci11 irons they would be a good buy. The True Temper Flighted TX Shaft is only 105 gms. nice feel and great work-ability. Wilson Staff Ci11 irons great iron set for someone that want to play a great game of Golf.

Been using the Wilson Ci11 irons for a year now and love them. At first I didn't think I was keen on the black finish to the club head but you do get use to it. To look at the clubs are very smart and gives you added confidence at address. Very forgiving club and are ideal for the mid range handicapper looking to improve.
