The Callaway Forged Plus Vintage wedge is a solid good looking wedge as you would expect from Roger Cleveland of Cleveland fame.

Better players will appreciate the soft feel and finish of this vintage version and the larger head size of the + version compared the the standard Callaway Forged wedges. It performed well from both sand and fairway and has enough wait to remove the ball from the rough fairly easily.

We did not feel it was better than a Vokey or a Cleveland, but it is right up there and for all the Roger Cleveland admirers it is definitely a wedge to try.

I thought that the look of the Callaway Forged + Vintage wedge was very small and very tough to hit and put spin on it. But I was wrong, it was quite easy to hit. I could also generate enough spin when needed.

My first thought was that the Callaway Forged+ Vintage wedge does not look like a Callaway iron. Had a Cleveland look about it. The head was just a bit too rounded for my liking. It was easy to hit, but I didn't get the same sort of feel and feedback I get from my present Cleveland wedges. Good club, but not for me.
