What you first notice about the Adidas Powerband shoe is the designs.
Whilst we were a little taken aback with some of the colour schemes on paper, when they are on your feet they do seem to work and look pretty cool.
However it is putting the the Powerband golf shoes on your feet that makes you forget how they look anyway, as the are exceptionally comfy. We really like the gripzone for under the heel of your foot which stops you foot sliding around.
The new outer sole has lots of nodules plus the usual spikes and these provide lots of grip and amazingly didn't seem to get clogged up with grass in our tests.
The wider Powerband sole gives you the most stability of any shoe we have tried and because it has a transparent edge it doesn't look like you are wading around with extra width shoes - very clever.
A small point on the Adidas Powerbands which we like is more lace eyelets than the Tour 360 shoes for easier and better lacing.
As long time adidas wearers, one final thing to look out for is that like the Tour 360s, the Powerbands seem to be half a size bigger than most other adidas shoes, so make sure you try before you buy and buy you should!
