Some of the best players in the world are switching to lighter clubs and lighter shafts in recent times to gain more speed and more distance. Wilson have used that concept to develop the new Wilson Staff D-100 range of fairway woods.

Wilson have designed the D-100 fairway to offer you more distance with the same swing effort. The mass properties of the clubhead and shaft have been engineered using Right Light club technology, to offer greater head speeds.

The PVD finish sits atop a low-profile clubhead design that sits square at address offering players the confidence the hit the ball further and with more forgiveness.

Wilson's R&D team worked hard to create Optimized Head Mass Properties. They relocated the D-100 fairway's centre of gravity 11% closer to the heel, 8% further back and 10% lower. The adjustments make the D-100 easier to square at address with improved launch angle, feel and spin rate.

Each Wilson Staff D-100 fairway wood is designed specially for it's purpose. The Progressive Head Design is tailored to offer a head and face size that is suited to the loft it represents.

The D-100 fairways feature a Matrix OZIK HD5.1 shaft that weighs just 55 grams. It's 16-sided internal structure HD (or hexadecagonal) technology is designed to provide the head with stability through the swing without adding any weight.

The Wilson Staff D-100 fairway is offered in either a 15, 18 or 21-degree model, and has an RRP of £129.
