How? In just his second ever links event, and his first ever appearance at The Open, Morikawa became a two-time major champion with a stunning Sunday performance at Royal St George's. The American fired a bogey-free round of 66, which included some incredible clutch putts on the closing nine holes, to leapfrog overnight leader Louis Oosthuizen and the charging Jordan Spieth and Jon Rahm to eventually run out as two-stroke winner.
