Who? 21 year-old Canadian Brooke Henderson.

What? The 2019 Meijer LPGA Classic, his 9th LPGA Tour victory.

Where? Blythefield Country Club, Grand Rapids, Michigan.

How? Henderson broke the record as the most successful Canadian golfer of all time with her ninth win, surpassing George Knudson and Mike Weir. After opening with a pair of 64s, a final round of two-under par 70 was enough to give her a one-stroke victory, her second of the season. Finishing at 21-under par, Henderson set tournament records for both 36 and 54-hole scores in the process.

Following the victory, Henderson said:

Earlier this year to get my eighth win was a huge deal for me and I felt like for the country as well. To kind of break that record now as well is really exciting. I just look forward to the rest of the summer and hopefully a lot more wins in the future.
