Skechers has introduced their new 2019 Go Golf shoe collection for both men and women, with 13 new designs featuring plenty of new technology aimed at enhancing golfers' games and improving their style out on the course.
Built specifically for the needs of golfers, the range blends performance with instant comfort and has already been used to great effect this season by Matt Kuchar during his Sony Open victory, where he sported a pair of the spiked Go Golf Pro 4 shoes.
One of the key new bits of tech for this year's range is the Gripflex spikeless TPU outsole, which can be found on the Mojo models. This consists of multi-directional cleats and lugs at the base of the shoe to provide greater traction and stability whilst ensuring that there are no extra lasting impressions left on the greens.
Skechers Go Golf 2019 Mens Shoe Range
The 2019 range offers nine styles for men, including five all-new designs. There are three Elite models, and the Fairway Lead, returning again this year to give a whole plethora of options to satisfy your feet's every need.
Skechers Go Golf Pro 4 and Pro 4 Honors Golf Shoes
The model of choice for PGA Tour star Matt Kuchar, the Pro 4 consists of a full-grain leather upper and low profile sole, whilst the Ultra Flight cushioning and Resamax cushioned insoles ensure that your feet don't take any punishment, even if your game does!
You should get plenty of grip thanks to the Softspikes cleats, whilst there's also a heel-lock feature which stops your foot sliding around during the golf swing. They should be suitable for pretty much all conditions too, thanks to H2GO Shield technology providing great waterproof protection.
The Pro 4 Honors version, available in black or charcoal grey, has the same technology but comes with a knitted textile upper, and both pairs are available in sizes 7.5-14 in both standard and wide fits.
Skechers Go Golf Mojo Elite and Mojo Punch Shot Golf Shoes
The new Mojo series features two spikeless models complete with the new Gripflex sole technology, which, as the name suggests, offers grip and flexibility in a shoe which can be worn on and off the course.
The Mojo Elite is designed with a textile and full-grain leather upper, plus a 'central saddle' for added stability and mid-foot support and is available in white/grey, grey/graphite and black colour options
Mojo Punch Shot
The interestingly-named Mojo Punch Shot has a full-grain leather upper for a more traditional look and is available in white with blue trim, black and in grey/light grey colorways. Both styles are available in sizes 7.5-13, 14, in standard and wide fits.
Skechers Go Golf Drive 4 and Drive 4 LX Golf Shoes
The Drive 4 is a more relaxed, trainer-style shoe aimed at players looking for a more casual look on and off the golf course, whilst still giving supreme levels of comfort and performance. The shoe features Ultra Flight cushioning, Goga Max technology insoles for high-rebound cushioning, and a durable rubber traction plate for grip.
The Drive 4 LX is designed with a premium full-grain leather upper and H2GO waterproof protection. Both styles are available in sizes 8-11.
Skechers Go Golf 2019 Womens Shoe Range
Designed specifically to suit women, and worn by some of the LPGA Tour's best golfers, the Womens range consists of ten models, with eight all new designs all offering Skechers' technology in a variety of different designs.
Skechers Go Golf Max Womens Golf Shoes
Worn by seven-time LPGA Tour winner Brooke Henderson, the sporty Max range comprises four different stylish options. The lightweight, spikeless shoes feature synthetic, water-resistant uppers, Ultra Flight cushioning, Goga Max insoles and TPU outsoles. Lightweight and comfortable, they are suitable for use all year round.
The Max series includes the Draw, Fade, Cut and Mojo models, and is available in a number of different colourways to be matched up with any outfit.
Skechers Go Golf Drive Womens Golf Shoes
The Drive range is designed for the fashion-conscious golfer but maintains plenty of performance enhancing features. The premium leather uppers are equipped with H2GO Shield waterproof protection, along with the usual cushioning and insole technologies.
The Drive shoes are offered in three eye-catching models.
The Drive Shine features quilted leather uppers with a high-shine finish, in a choice of silver, pewter or rose gold colourways.
The Drive Sparkle features star accents with glitter detailing on the heel, for a fun and flashy look.
The Drive Shimmer features a glitter overlay detail on the heel section, which Skechers say gives an 'added touch of glamour'.
All three styes are offered in half sizes from 5.5-10, plus an 11, at an RRP of £99.
Skechers Go Golf Eagle Womens Golf Shoes
For 2019 there are now three more Eagle models in the collection, joining the existing Eagle Pro model launched last year. They offer synthetic uppers with Goga Max and 5Gen cushioning, plus outsoles which place an emphasis on high traction and durable grip.
The Eagle Lag features a floral print on the side panels, and is available in grey, navy and white.
The Eagle Honey is available in black, white and navy with a colour contrasting collar and tongue area.
The Eagle Relaxed Fit has a more spacious front area for those golfers with wider feet, and comes in white, navy and pink and black and white in half sixes from 5.5-10, plus an 11.
Some of the names may be a little strange, but Skechers' latest range of shoes will be exactly what you'd expect to get from the brand - sturdy, comfortable and reliable. They have also expanded their range of shoe widths and sizes for 2019, so that more golfers can find the perfect fit.
The addition of Relaxed Fit models give a larger frontfoot section for those with wider feet, and the Elite and Fairway models now go up to size 16 so that all golfers can experience the benefits that Skechers shoes provides.
