Under Armour's apparel range for the winter months is designed to allow you to 'play through' any weather conditions, thanks to a range of innovative technologies which have seen them rise to the UK's number one men's apparel brand since 2016.
The key technology of this is UA Storm, which is utilised in clothing ranging from baselayers and winter trousers to sweaters and outerwear, and is said to eliminate the need for waterproofs in all but the wettest conditions. This is thanks to an 'invisible layer' on the outer of the garments, which repels rain without affecting breathability.
ColdGear Infrared is also used when the weather is extremely cold, by using a thermo-conductive inner coating that absorbs and retains body heat to keep you warmer for longer out on the course.

The Storm Stinger Jacket is windproof and rain-repellent, with a softshell construction to minimise weight and is quiet during the swing to make it a very playable option. The UA Storm treatment is said to be an invisible layer of protection, as it allows the water to collect up and fall away rather than soaking into the materal.
The new ColdGear Infrared Golf Baselayer is UA's first baselayer specifically designed to work alongside the way that the golfer moves, and features both ColdGear Infrared and UA Storm technology to keep you warm and dry. The body is fitted so that it stays tucked in, whilst the sleeves are compression so that they can stretch during the movement of the golf swing.
These two technologies are also seen in the Under Armour CGI Taper Pant. These are ideal for colder weather as they retain the body's own heat to keep you warm, whilst also being rain repellent so a downpour isn't the end of the world.
The UA Storm finish repels dirt and water that would usually be picked up during the round, making it easier to wipe clean afterwards. There's also a stretch waistband for easier mobility and comfort.
The Storm Evolution Daytona is said to be an ideal layering piece, and is available as a vest, 1/2 Zip or Full Zip jacket. The clever bit with the Daytona is that it can change with conditions on the course - keeping you warm when it's cold, rain-repellent, and release heat when it gets warmer for more comfort.
The Under Armour Storm Sweaterfleece is one of the brand's most popular clothing lines and comes in three new styles for FW20, designed to be warm, lightweight and water-resistant.
There's a 1/2 Snap Mock Neck, Hoodie and 1/2 Zip version so that you have an option regardless of the weather.
The range is completed with new seasonal colours and styles from the Performance, Playoff, Vanish and Iso-Chill polo shirt technologies, along with a full range of winter accessories, including CGI and Storm beanie hats, gloves, and winter mitts.
