Anyone who has played winter golf in Britain knows that, at times, it can be pretty miserable. Freezing cold, usually raining, not much sunlight and golf courses which aren't at their best.
If that still hasn't put you off, then at least you can make sure you're well equipped to 'fight the cold' thanks to Under Armour's new ColdGear Golf Kit for the winter season.
Built with next-generation ColdGear Infrared technology and UA Storm tech, Under Armour's aim is to get you turning 18 holes into 36 without having to stop to get warm and dry.
The ColdGear Infrared 2.0 technology features an upgrade to the printed pattern on the inside of garments, which is built to capture heat and return it to the user when the body starts to cool.
The new print sees the introduction of break lines to allow for a more natural stretch and greater comfort, without affecting the levels of protection from the elements.
This technology is featured in a new base layer as well as an update to the Daytona collection, which is meant to be worn as a midlayer and is available in three different options - a half-zip pullover, a vest, or a full-zip with hood.
There's new winter hats, gloves and mittens also include the ColdGear Infrared 2.0 tech and UA Storm.
The ColdGear Golf Kit's outer layer features thermo-regulating Reactor Active Insulation, which is in use across the ColdGear Reactor series and provides the most warmth on even the coldest days.
The ColdGear Golf Kit’s pants are also built with ColdGear Infrared 2.0 on the inside and UA Storm on the outside, allowing for you to easily remove mud, grass or water.
They also remove the need for you to wear waterproof trousers over your regular pants, giving you a wider range of movement during your golf swing.
The ColdGear Golf Kit is complemented by a full range of clothing and accessories, with Under Armour's hallmark silhouettes, fabrications and technologies.
This includes the Storm SweaterFleece, with new Pile Fleece look, updated styles in the Playoff Polo and a full range of Match Play trousers.
