Srixon has announced the fourth generation of their UltiSoft golf ball, which is the lowest compression ball in their lineup and aims to provide a soft-feeling ball at an attractive price point.

The foundation of the new ball is Srixon's FastLayer Core technology, consisting of a soft centre which transitions to a firmer outer edge, to provide extra distance whilst retaining the expected soft feel at impact.

Srixon say that it is 'powerful distance with maximum softness on every strike', which is enhanced by the use of a soft, thin cover to provide better greenside spin and a softer feel on all pitches, chips and putts.

The UltiSoft comes with a 338 Speed Dimple pattern which is designed to reduce drag and increase lift, improving overall aerodynamics for improved performance particularly in the wind.

Available from October 2022, the Srixon UltiSoft ball is offered in Pure White and is priced at an SRP of £28 per dozen.
