Earlier this year we saw Shot Scope make a number of updates to their golf shot tracking offerings with the all-new X5 GPS Watch, and now they've added a new option to the range: the G5 GPS.
The G5 GPS is said to be a modernised watch which blends technology and style on the golf course, featuring a new watch face with multiple display layouts and a range of interchangeable coloured straps for ultimate customisation.
The watch has an option for an extra-large unit display and is ready to play straight out of the box, demonstrating Shot Scope's aim of providing ease-of-use for the golfer.
Users can create their own unique golf watch with a choice of two-colour straps with every order, and you can simply slide the bar over to remove one strap and replace it with another, creating a new look every time you play.
"Building on from the success of the G3, the launch of the G5 was the natural progression for us. We understand that not everyone wants to track their data, so the comprehensive GPS offering from the G5 is perfect for those starting their journey with our products, or for those just looking for a device to aid course management."
"The choice and versatility of this watch really enhances its stylistic nature; all whilst sporting impressive technology that informs golfer on how best to manage their round."
David Hunter, Chief Executive Officer, Shot Scope.
The G5 has a new digital scorecard to allow players to keep score as they go. There are also dynamic yardages to the front, middle and back of greens (this changes depending on the angle of approach) as well as distances to hazards, doglegs and layup points.
The watch provides details on over 36,000 courses worldwide, along with the added benefit of switching the watch face to a clock design once finished so that it can be worn off-course too.
Available now, the Shot Scope G5 will be available in either a Black or Grey watch case, with a choice of two colour straps from the following: Classic White, Classic Black, Carbon Grey, Steel Grey, Navy, Army Green, Sky Blue, Burgundy, Mint Green, Orange, Pink, Racing Red.
It comes with an RRP of £149.99, £130 cheaper than the X5 GPS which comes with option of performance tracking thanks to the tags which screw in to the top of each golf club.
