The original Puma BioDrive was all about comfort and versatility on and off the course. With a mesh upper it offered a shoe that was as at home in the gym as on the links or any point in between.
Puma have now married the successful performance aspects of the BioDrive with a premium, full-grain leather, waterproof upper, that gives the shoe a luxurious look and feel without sacrificing feel and performance.
The BioDrive shoes are built around three specific zones on the sole of the shoe that focus on increasing flexibility, balance and stability. Using a series of striking octagonal pods, that provide 130 unique points of traction, the performance zones work together throughout the golf swing.
The front decoupled pods in the forefoot promote flexibility as well as increasing ground contact and therefore traction. A mid-foot axis point allows for a supportive torsional movement in the shoe to provide balance with the four connected pods in the heel give golfers a solid platform for stability.
Above the outsole the BioDrive has an anatomically modelled last for comfort and a TPU perimeter wrap that bonds around the entire shoe to improve protection and durability.
Comfort is enhanced by a soft memory foam tongue whilst an Ortholite Sockliner cushions the foot as well as removing moisture and providing anti-microbial protection.
The BioDrive Leather comes with a two year waterproof guarantee and is available in a choice of Steel Gray/Spicy Orange; Bison Brown/White Swan; Black/White/Tango Red; and White/Limestone Gray colour combinations.
