The Nike ONE RZN golf ball is the latest Nike ball featuring their RZN core, that is faster and lighter than traditional rubber, designed to create distance in an amateur-targeted ball.
First featured in the Nike 20XI S and 20XI X balls in 2011, the RZN core is the same, larger core with a new formulation designed to increase distance when it counts. Nike engineers looked to enhance the already successful RZN technology within the ONE RZN, creating an even faster engine for amateur players. The larger, softer core will improve feel on all shots while still maintaining distance off the tee.
Our friend and Director of Nike's Product Development, Rock Ishii, told us "With ONE RZN, we are able to bring revolutionary advances in golf balls to a wider range of athletes. There’s not a product out there in this category of golf ball that has technology of this magnitude."
The Nike ONE RZN will be available in both a standard ONE RZN and ONE RZN X version. Both models are designed to deliver faster speed, higher MOI and improved spin. However, the ONE RZN X model is slightly firmer and suited to players with faster head speed or a steeper angle of attack into the ball.
