Graham DeLaet

Although short, golf's offseason is always filled with new equipment and new equipment deals. The latest deal sees world number 36, Graham DeLaet, join Puma Golf in a deal that will see him wear their clothing in 2014.

DeLaet had a breakout season in 2013, finishing 34th in the Fedex Cup on the back of seven top-10 finishes as well as competing in the Presidents Cup for the first time. The Canadian made a name for himself as one of the best ball strikers on Tour, finishing 1st in Total Driving and 3rd in Greens In Regulation.

"Puma Golf is a great fit for me and I couldn't be more excited to be part of the team," said DeLaet. "I have always been a fan of the brand and the innovative combination of function and fashion they bring to the game. Their unique style is matched with top-performing gear that will undoubtedly help improve my game, and I look forward to represent PUMA Golf on Tour in 2014 and beyond."

So what do Puma think of their newest player?

President Bob Philion said "Graham is a perfect fit for the PUMA Golf team. He is a world class performer who brings a fresh look to the course, making him the perfect representation of the style and performance blend that PUMA Golf embraces. We are excited to support Graham as he continues his success on Tour and embodies the PUMA Golf energy on and off the course."

Here's how DeLaet announced the new Puma deal:

DeLaet's go-to polo for this season will be the Puma Golf Tech Polo. The polo's breathable mesh panels, placed in the center of the shirt's back, offer ventilation to one of the body's sweatiest zones while Puma's three button placket and self-fabric collar give the shirt a classic golf style.

Look out for DeLaet wearing his new Puma gear for the first time in competition at the Farmers Insurance Open on January 23, 2014. Showing true patriotism, the golfer will play in Canada's national colors, red and white, every Sunday on Tour. Look out for Puma Golf using the hashtag #CanadianSunday to support DeLaet's signature Sunday look.

As for the rest of his equipment, DeLaet tweeted "No equipment changes for the next three years. I have resigned with Titleist for clubs, ball, FootJoy shoe, and glove."
