Golf trolley giants Motocaddy have introduced what they claim to be the world's first remote control touchscreen GPS trolley which is designed to offer golfers the 'ultimate caddie' experience by combining responsive control with performance enhancing features.
The new M7 GPS features an integrated, fast GPS system complete with accurate green visuals, distances to the front, middle and back, and hazard information for more than 40,000 courses worldwide.
Golfers who choose to purchase the M7 GPS will also benefit from a free 12 month trial of the cellular-powered Motocaddy Performance Plan. This upgrade allows golfers access to full-hole mapping, a detailed dynamic Green View, score and statistic tracking, performance analysis and real-time course updates.
"The new M7 GPS delivers the ultimate caddie experience to give users an edge. It offers everything a golfer needs to transport their clubs around the course effortlessly, whilst providing pinpoint yardages and GPS mapping through its super-responsive touchscreen."
"The revolutionary electric trolley GPS technology pioneered by Motocaddy in 2017 has advanced a great deal in recent years. Today our cellular-powered Performance Plan combines with the most responsive remote-control technology on the market to take the trolley experience to an exciting new level."
Oliver Churcher, Motocaddy Marketing Director
The trolley features a clear, responsive 3.5" LCD touchscreen display which is usable in all weather conditions, including whilst wearing a glove.
Other features include: clock and round timer, par and handicap of each hole, shot distance measurement, automatic hole advancement, score tracking and a battery indicator. Defribrillator locations at the course can be found on the screen along with CPR instructions.
The M7 GPS comes with a pocket-sized remote-control handset, allowing the trolley to move forward, left, right and in reverse, plus pause and resume. Golfers can choose to switch between remote to handle control if necessary, with a regular speed button.
The M7 GPS has all-terrain tyres for better handling on the course, and like the other models in Motocaddy's M-Series range it folds down easily to a compact size for easy storage and transportation.
Powered by a High Power 28.8V system, the trolley has nine different speed settings with a speed indicator, as well as a super-lightweight Lithium battery which you can recharge without having to remove it from its trolley housing.
It also features the Easilock bag-to-trolley connection system that removes the need for a lower bag strap.
Available from March, the new M7 GPS 2023 electric trolley features an Ultra Lithium battery at an RRP of £1499.
