Golfstream are a British brand which specialises in both golf trolleys and trolley spares and parts, including batteries, motors and cables.

Their Vision electric trolley has been around for quite some time now, and so the company have decided to add another model to their range with the introduction of the new Blue trolley, seeking to provide golfers with the 'simplest electric trolley in golf'.

Golfstream Blue Trolley

The Blue features a simple on/off button on the handle, and a blue LED light which indicates when the power is on. Turning the button clockwise moves the trolley forward and vice versa to reduce the speed, whilst pressing the button again turns the trolley off. The next time it is pressed, the trolley will resume rolling at the same speed it was previously at.

All of Golfstream trolleys use a handy one click open and close mechanism, which they say can take a trolley from folded to ready for use in less than a second.

From a folded position, the user simply has to lift the handle which raises the trolley in one movement, as it clicks into place and is ready for a bag to be added.

This bag then rests in a cradle on the main frame, and is designed to remain firmly in place without any twisting or buckling regardless of terrain.

At the end of the round, pressing once on the folding mechanism collapses the trolley back into its folded state. An in-built magnet then holds the trolley in this position, allowing it to be moved or carried easily.

Made of a strong, lightweight aluminium, the Blue features a 3-wheel design and easily removed main wheels for quick maintenance and cleaning, as well as a non-clog front wheel design which is ideal for year-round use.

The trolley is designed to fit in to the majority of car boots and is just under 9k, which should make it easy to move around.

There's a 230w whisper-quiet motor and high-grip PU tyres which are five times more durable than normal tyres, providing a smooth and cushioning ride for your clubs and accessories.

The blue colour scheme can also be quickly swapped to any one of five colours from Golfstream’s accessory range.

Increasing numbers of golfers in all age groups are using electric trolleys to transport their clubs and golf gear around the golf course.

More and more golfers tell us that, whilst all the technology in the handle can be useful, it is available through other products that they already have in their bag, all they want is a golf trolley that is reliable, easy to set up and straightforward to use.

The Golfstream Blue is perfectly placed to meet their needs. Add in our renowned one click open and close system, easy on-off wheels, Caddycell battery that comes with every Golfstream Blue and a golfer could not ask for a simpler solution for getting their golf clubs around the course.

We are delighted with the result, and I suspect there isn't a simpler electric golf trolley to use anywhere.
