The biggest brand in golf footwear, FootJoy, are expanding their collection with the release of the new Stratos shoe for men and women, which is said to be the ultimate option for on and off-course comfort.
With a new ultra-cushioned underfoot, exceptional traction and a super soft leather upper, the FJ Stratos is specifically designed for golf and seeks to enhance FootJoy's reputation as creators of innovative footwear.
The Stratos features a new cushioning compound called StratoFoam, a foam blend which provides high levels of support and comfort for the usual motions you'd expect during a round of golf, including swinging and walking. The StratoFoam helps to absorb vibrations through the foot for maximum comfort and energy return.
FootJoy's new VersaTrax+ outsole is designed to give you great levels of grip from any lie in all conditions out on the golf course. The tread pattern has been designed to provide an 'anti-channeling' traction by reducing the chances of dirt or debris getting caught in the sole to maintain better ground contact.
The traction points are also deliberately positioned at different angles so that the shoe can always find a little bit of extra grip and prevent slippage.
The Stratos uses a soft, premium leather upper from Pittards of England which uses a proprietary tanning process to give you a luxurious and supple feel - so no breaking in required!
There's also an integrated tongue for extra comfort, as well as a reinforced heel to provide greater rear foot stability.
