Everybody knows a good short game is essential if you're going to shoot your best scores but for some golfers short shots lead to more stress than sand saves.
Cleveland is hoping to address that with the release of two super game-improvement wedges, the Smart Sole 2.0 S wedge and the Smart Sole 2.0 C wedge, designed with Cleveland Golf's widest wedge sole to promote cleaner contact from both turf and sand.

Both wedges come with a premium black satin finish that reduces glare, creating a contrast between between the ball and wedge that helps alignment as well as providing a distinctive look.

The 2.0 S and 2.0 C also both include an improved version of Cleveland's 'Feel Plaque' that dampens vibrations to improve feel as well as allowing more of the weight to be placed around the perimeter of the club for more forgiveness and greater consistency.
Cleveland Smart Sole 2.0 S Wedge
Cleveland's research showed that when looking at golfers with a 12 handicap or more, 54% of bunker shots don't find the green. The Smart Sole 2.0 Sand wedge is designed to address this problem, helping golfers escape from the sand and avoid leaving the ball in the bunker.

Featuring an optimum combination of bounce and loft (58°) that act together with the forgiving width of the sole, the 2.0 S wedge will help golfers get the ball up and out of the bunker at the first attempt.

The sole design of the S wedge also promotes better and more consistent turf interaction so will help you improve contact on all of your short shots around the green.
Cleveland Smart Sole 2.0 C Wedge
The Smart Sole 2.0 C wedge has been designed to eliminate the other short game card wrecker, the duffed chip. Featuring a refined wide and forgiving sole, very much in the style of previous Cleveland chipping clubs, it promotes a crisp and clean contact from any lie around the green.

The loft of 42° makes the 2.0 ideal to help golfers play the controlled running shots around the green that will consistently help to lower scores.

A shorter shaft length, at just 34 inches, also gives greater control and playability on fuller shots and the 2.0 C also performs on full shots from 125 yards and in, giving it greater versatility than simply helping you play the chip and run.
