Anyone who has ever played golf in Britain knows that there is a pretty good chance of it raining whilst you're out on the course, even during the middle of the summer.
Just as well then, that Big Max is adding two designs to their Aqua bag range for 2019 which should keep your clubs and valuables protected from the elements, along with some other new features and technologies.
The key talking point of the Aqua range is Big Max's Drop-Stop system, which ensures that the bags are 100% waterproof. With sealed seams, waterproof zippers and a 10,000mm waterproof rating, these bags will be as secure as anything else on the market when it comes to keeping its contents dry.
The bags are composed from ultra-lightweight, tear resistant materials for a robust, reliable construction, and each bag in the series has its own individual features aimed at making a golfer's life that little bit easier when out on the course.
Big Max Aqua V-4 Golf Bag
The new Aqua V-4 aims to make your pre-shot routine cleaner and quicker thanks to a clever re-thinking of the traditional bag design. The V-Lock organiser top features four 'Twist and Lock' mechanisms in place of traditional dividers, holding the woods in place and facing away from the rest of the clubs to leave a clearer view, so you can select and remove clubs with ease.
The woods are securing with a lightweight locking mechanism at the foot of the bag, whilst the rest of the top retains a traditional look and the overall weight of the bag is still just 2.7kg.
There are plenty of other practical touches too, such as 14 full-length dividers, 9 spacious waterproof pockets, putter or umbrella well, 2 cooler pockets, glove and towel holder, umbrella holder, transport handles and a 10 inch top.
The Big Max Aqua V-4 is priced at £299.99 at is available in Black, Charcoal/Fuschia, Navy/White/Red, Red/Black, Steel Blue/Black/Orange, Storm Silver/Black/Lime, and White/Black/Orange.
Big Max Aqua Style 2 Golf Bag
Big Max say that the new Style 2 shows off classic European styling with ease of use and practicality to create an ideal option for most golfers. There should be plenty of room for clubs and extra gear, with 9 spacious waterproof pockets, an oversize cooler pocket, and 14-way organiser with full length dividers.
Despite this, the Style 2 weighs in at an impressive 2.1 kg, keeping it easily transportable.
As the name suggests the Style 2 has also shown signs of a focus on aesthetics from Big Max, with a mix of different vertical, horizontal and curved pockets which are both positioned usefully and designed to look stylish and. It comes with the usual 100% waterproof protection seen in all Aqua bags.
Priced just below the Aqua V-4 at £249.90, the Style 2 is available in Blue/Grass, Cream/Coffee, Navy/Cream, Red/Silver, Silver/Navy, Storm Silver/Lime and White/Pink.
So if you are on the hunt for a bag which looks good, and will keep your gear safe and dry no matter the conditions, then the Big Max Aqua range should definitely be one to add to your shortlist this year.
