The TaylorMade R7 Draw driver certainly lives up to its name without turning everything into a snap hook.

In our tests, a natural gentle fade was straightened up and a straight shot turned into a nice gentle draw. So if either of these are your natural shots then this is the club for you. It looks very good at address from above and even the weighting underneath looks pretty good.

The sound and feel at impact was very solid and we really enjoyed hitting it. The only issue we could see is whether someone will admit to being a slicer by buying one!

However once you have swallowed your pride and hit this a few times then you will be parting with the cash as the R7 Draw driver is a great value for money club.

I bought my R7 draw in the mid 2000's and like other reviewers have struggled to find newer more expensive equipment to match its consistency of fairways hit.Great club and even have a spare (£30 in the bargain bucket) in my garage should something happen to my 'best friend'.

Bought this in 2007, still have it, still hit it great. My friends with newer equipment seem to be no better off. Great feel and sound when hit.

Bought this club in 2007, still have it and still feels good when l hit the ball. My slice has turned to a fade and every now and then l hit it it straight down the line. Even into a head wind, put hands down the shaft and just pat the ball to keep it low and it goes straight with reasonable distance. This club has given me confidence off the tee. Have thought about updating but l don't think l will now after looking at the reviews here.

Bloke sold this to me for £20, I always hit a 3 wood before this club as I couldnt hit a driver. I didnt like big heads and I was intimidated by them. I have a natural slice and the draw factor drew me to the club, plus the fact that it was Taylor Made. I didnt play golf loads before I bought this club, now I want to play every day. OMG what a great club. The head is big which allows forgiveness, I still hit the ball nearly 200 yards when I slightly duff, heel or toe the club. I adjusted my swing and took a long smooth back swing and followed through the ball - wow. It flew into the air and seemed to keep going! I'm a 24 handicapper, I do aim slightly left as I slice but when I'm down the range with this club I have every confidence with it. 6 year old kids called me "a great player" as they watched me hit 100 balls long and far down the range. Nice little confidence boost! Its a gorgeous club, second hand for £20? Deal of the century. Why fork out loads of money on the newest club available when you can pick this gem up for a pittance in golfing terms. It's my favourite club, not bad for a man who only hit a 3 wood for 5 years! In 2 weeks this is the most trustworthy club in my bag. I love it, I wouldn't sell it for all the tea in China, if you get a chance - buy it. You won't regret it

Found this thing in the lost and found. Best driver I have ever owned.

I got rid of my TM r7 Draw driver several years ago even though I was happy with it. Trouble is we all get sucked in by manufacturers promising their year on year new drivers are an improvement on the last model. Lately I have had an adjustable driver, a driver with huge weirdly shaped heads and surprise, surprise none of them work. I have now bought another r7 Draw driver and once again bomb the shots down the fairway a long way past all this modern stuff. The confidence I have on the tee now is all thanks to my Taylormade r7 Draw driver.

After reading rave reviews online about the TaylorMade r7 Draw driver I decided to purchase this driver on the hope that it would reduce my dreaded slice. I paid £75 from an online dealer but after P&P and tax this rose to £115, but man it is worth every penny. Although it has not got rid of my slice completely and I still throw in a quick one every now and then but my consistency, accuracy and distance have been increased dramatically. The confidence this club provides of the tee is second to none. Can't praise this club enough, recommended to anyone.

Tried this TaylorMade R7 Draw driver out today...and damn!! I had a joint trial with a few other drivers, but the R7 Draw just hits so well. The draw technology on this club ensure that if your prone like I am to fading somtimes a little sometime a lot then this club adds great confidence to your strike! The ball flight this clubs evokes is tremendous. The element of spin is kept to a minimum ensuring your ball goes as far as you want it to. You don not need to hit the R7 Draw driver hard to hit it well, it does the work for you!

If its power control and excellent ball flight and distance you crave whilst also giving yourself the confidnece of not hitting a huge fade then this should be your next purchase.

I recommend Discount golf in Hartswood, Essex.
