The 2008 version of the TaylorMade TP ball features the companies LDP technology which we found did seem to give it a lower trajectory.
Distance with the driver was as good or better than a Titleist Pro V1 in our playing test and the feel on and around the green was very good too.
If there is a scuff mark on the performance of the TaylorMade TP ball, it is that the cover does seem to mark a lot more easily than the Titleist so the cover conscious among you may feel you have to change this ball more often.
A premium ball that is worth considering by all better players.
