The Nike Method putter is better looking than previous Nike putters and the mid-oversized style not only looks good but gives you lots of confidence.

All the styles in the Method range have good alignment markings on the back of the putter and the standard lie angle was very comfortable and not too upright - again a big step forward on previous Nike offerings.

The polymetal groove technology in the face of the Nike Method putters looks good and when you did hit it right out of the centre the feel was soft but firm and gave a nice level of sound feedback.

However, given the design of the grooves, it was hard to get a consistent performance from the putter as they seemed a little too far apart from each other and not very effective on off-centre hits.

Top level amateurs or pro's may get the most from this putter but average golfers may find performance and feel and little inconsistent. Nike are getting there with their putters and this is a good effort, but the Method putter just missed the mark for us.
