Who? 34 year-old Austrian Bernd Wiesberger.

What? Italian Open, his third European Tour, and second Rolex Series, win of the season.

Where? Olgiata Golf Club, Rome, Italy.

How? Starting the final round three strokes behind Englishman Matt Fitzpatrick, Wiesberger fired a bogey-free 65 which included three birdies in a row on the front nine. Fitzpatrick's round was derailed thanks to a double bogey on the par-five 9th, and he had to settle for second place for the fourth time this season.

Following the victory, Wiesberger said:

I've won three times this year and it's been the same every time. I've just really enjoyed my time and I'm positive to be back out there because I know how tough it was when I had to withdraw from these great events.
