Titleist has launched the new TruFeel golf ball as its latest offering in the low-compression, soft-feel market.

Titleist TruFeel Golf Ball

Building on the previous generation DT TruSoft, Titleist has engineered the TruFeel to deliver longer distance and excellent control for golfers who prefer a very soft compression feel without sacrificing performance.

Michael Mahoney, Vice President, Titleist Golf Ball Marketing, explains:

We know from our extensive player testing that golfers who gravitate toward the softest-feeling golf balls are also clearly focused on performance. In this category, we continue to see competitive products that sacrifice distance of short-game spin in order to gain a softer feel. TruFeel strikes the perfect balance of extremely soft feel and all-round performance. Our engineers have advanced TruFeel's low compression technology to add speed and distance in the long game while preserving the feel that golfers tell us they love - and the playability on every shot that makes this ball a Titleist.

Titleist TruFeel Golf Ball

To achieve this best in class performance the Titleist TruFeel uses the most advanced low-compression design and manufacturing technologies.

Manufactured at Titleist Ball Plant 2 in North Dartmouth Massachuseets, the TruFeel features a new TruTouch Core, a fast, low-spinning low-compression core that delivers greater distance from the tee and with longer irons.

Long game distance is also enhanced by a new TruFit aerodynamic design featuring a symmetrically optimised pattern for longer flight.

Control comes from a proprietary Titleist formulation in the TruFlex cover that gives a very soft feel around the green and excellent greenside control.

Golfers will also notice that the TruFeel features a new sidestamp alignment aid giving golfers the option for easy alignment without having to mark the ball themselves. Titleist has offered ball alignment options via its online My Titleist customiser since February 2018 and the new TruFeel sidestamp was inspired by the most popular choices on that platform.

The Titleist TruFeel will initially be available in a choice of White and Optic Yellow with a new Matte Red option joining the range in January 2020.
