You don’t have to be a golf nut to notice that this week, there’s a rather special tournament taking place in the world of golf. TaylorMade are among a number of golf brands attempting to bring the unofficial start to the golf season within touching distance to us, armchair Augusta enthusiasts, with a number of rather stand-out limited edition products to get our teeth into.
To celebrate the long-awaited opening major of the season, TaylorMade Golf is launching a rather eye-catching Limited Edition themed tour bag, carry bag, and putter headcover. As you can imagine, the follow a certain colour scheme, no prizes for guessing which it may be…
TaylorMade Masters Tour Bag
Embellished in the green and white colours associated with the season opening major, the Masters-themed Tour Bag features a striking pink Azalea pattern inside the 12 storage pockets which allow for storage whilst a 6-way velour top divider keeps clubs organised.
Complete with handy accessories including: umbrella sleeve, towel clip, rain hood and zip off belly panel for embroidery, golfers can match their favourite staff players during the tournament with this (the pretty special, rather), roomy tour bag.
TaylorMade FlexTech Masters Stand Bag
Mimicking the colourway of the Tour Bag, the FlexTech Stand Bag features the same stand-out nod to Augusta, with the green/white colours and Azalea patterned pocket lining.
The patented FlexTech base claims to ensure no club crowding or sticking occurs through a collapsible base and full length dividers. A water-resistant micro-suede lined pocket keeps valuables safe whilst a large internal cooler pocket will keep drinks cold. TaylorMade say that we should expect to see the FlexTech Bag make its mark on Augusta’s hallowed turf during the famous Par-3 contest with a selection of celebrities choosing the season opening carry bag.
TaylorMade Masters Putter Cover
The Limited Putter Edition cover celebrates golf’s first Major with Augusta green colouring and stitched Azalea flowers (anybody seeing a pattern emerging here?). Hints of white and subtle branding on the synthetic leather add a premium look and feel to complement the Tour and stand bags, however whether it will make you putt likes of Dustin Johnson, and Justin Rose, we’re not entirely sure.
There’s no doubting that these TaylorMade products are thing of golfing beauty, that would make any discerning golfer feel good stepping onto the first tee for their first club medal of the year. With striking looks, premium quality, and the reminder of golf in its most attractive form every time you venture for another golf club, they would certainly turn a few heads too.
After looking however at the pricing of this limited edition range, the magic of the Masters may quickly become a distant memory once again. Maybe TaylorMade should take influence from the Masters in the prices of its on-course snacks, not just its world famous colours.
